So far here's what I've tried, with no success: Little Snitch Reset All Rules I'm running Safari 5.1.0 on Snow Leopard (10.6.8). Since launching Safari this morning I keep getting the message that 'Safari can't connect to the server.' This happens with any website.įirefox, Opera, Mail, iTunes and App Store all connect to the internet and work fine.

There's a fork with improvements and bug fixes that's currently in development, so I suggest using the fork instead of the unmaintained proj. Later edit the original OpenSnitch was abandoned. OpenSnitch is a Linux port of the Little Snitch firewall application for MacOS, currently considered beta software. Thus, just having Little Snitch installed prevented installation, because the hackers behind the malware knew that Little Snitch would prevent it from working properly. On the one hand, there has been malware that short-circuited its own install process if Little Snitch was present.
